BREAKING NEWS: LMVG to “Rock Out” next Spring!
It has emerged this evening, that sources close to the elusive Committee of the Leixlip Musical & Variety Group have confirmed their 2016 musical production, will be none other than the staggering extravaganza, “Rock Of Ages“.
This news has literally “rocked” the typically quiet and serene town of Leixlip, County Kildare. Speaking to some locals tonight, our entertainment correspondent Trudy Winxalot observed a distinct air of dizzying excitement, coupled with 1980’s neon nostalgia:
“I cannot believe it...” said one local chiropodist, …” it’s been just ages since we have a good auld air grabbin’ time here in Leixlip. With all the dancing in the ailses, my business is gonna go through the roof!“.
As if County Kildare needed any more good news this evening, sources also confirmed that veteran Director/Choreographer Claire Tighe and Musical Director Dave Hayes will take the helm in bringing this soft rock, glitter glam, spandex perm-fest to the sleepy town of Leixlip.
